Letter to the Editor: Valet service … really???

To the Editor:

As a business woman living full-time in TV for 12 years, I originally admired the financial astuteness of TV’s developers, the Morse’s. But over the years, I’ve gotten to the point where admiration has turned to disgust. They are creative and made the “family ” worth well over $3Billion, yet they continue to want more. The latest escapade is valet services at the Square, where residents forego PRIME parking space for the honor to pay outrageous fees, and give a few pennies more to line their pockets. “GO”, based in Orlando, provides valet services to many venues & they (like all other businesses here) must PAY the developers. Only this time it’s to take away valuable parking (4-5 auto slots = 12-15 golf cart spots) – why? In order for the Morse’s to bleed folks on fixed incomes only to line their ever bulging net worth. When did financial astuteness become monetary rape and how do we stop it (other than move somewhere else?) For people I once admired, I say SHAME ON YOU…
