Lila Caporali, of The Villages, FL, was a resident at Steeple Chase from 2010 until June of 2014 when she left to go into assisted living at Serenades in The Villages. She was the recipient of the excellent care of the Serenades staff. Lila always hoped to get back to Steeple Chase in her third floor apartment. She nevertheless enjoyed dinners and cocktails with friends in the area. Lila received loving care from Cornerstone Hospice and died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 18, 2017 at the age of 94. She joins her beloved husband, Joe, in Heaven. For that we are thankful.
