Live Oaks Community Church is inviting members of the community to a special Palm Sunday celebration this Sunday in a large tent on their future ministry site, just north of the Buffalo Ridge Wal-Mart on County 66.
The service begins at 10 a.m.
“Everyone is invited to attend and hear about the future plans to develop a 25 acre parcel into a home for both the church and a retirement care center that has a Christian foundation,” said Pastor Chris Holck.
Live Oaks Community Church began a little over three years ago and has rented locations at both the Waterfront Inn and presently at Wildwood Country Resort near Brownwood. The church has grown to 300 people and is now making plans to build their own church and also develop an outdoor worship venue on their golf cart accessible property.
Palm Sunday parking will be available on the site and shuttle vehicles will be available to transport people from car or golf cart to the tent. There will be refreshments available after the service. The tent holds in excess of 300 people so there will be room for lots of visitors. The location just north of the Wal-Mart on 466 is at the intersection of Woodridge Drive and County Road 103. Golf cart access is possible through the Wal-Mart parking lot and across Woodridge Drive.
