Loaded .357 revolver, $150 stolen from car parked at Applebee’s

A  loaded .357 revolver and $150 in cash were stolen from a vehicle parked July 23 at the Applebee’s restaurant on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages.

The woman whose car was burglarized reported the missing items to the Lady Lake Police Department.

A spare set of keys to her car that she had kept in her purse were later found on a golf course. The key chain had an Ace Hardware reward card, the keys were taken to the hardware store where store personnel made contact with the victim through her rewards card number.
