Local employees of Greystone Health Network honored

Several local associates with Greystone Health Network have been honored as 2016 associates of the year.

They are Patience James from Lady Lake Specialty Care Center, Tasleem Serrano from The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center, Therese Alfred from The Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Robert Zeunik from The Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center and Chris Reid from Greystone Home Health of The Villages.

All awardees were invited to attend a celebratory lunch and awards ceremony at the corporate office in Tampa. They were honored by their executive directors with a personalized speech, a plaque, a new gold name badge and a bonus check for $250.

“We’re always looking for ways to recognize a job well done,” said Director of Recruitment Matt Marconi. “These awards are just a small way of showing our gratitude.”

Winners were determined by collecting the most votes from their co-workers at each location.

“There is a common trend among our awardees – they take the extra moment to perform small acts of kindness, they have proved themselves accountable and dependable to their colleagues, and they show up with a positive attitude, prepared to put our residents first each and every day,” said CEO of Greystone Health Network Connie Bessler. “I am immensely proud of these individuals and the contributions they make to our organization.”

Greystone Health Network has recently been named on Tampa Bay Times’ Top 100 Workplaces list.
