Lorraine J. Carson, 77, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Lorraine was a native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and lived there for most of her life. Lorraine moved to The Villages with her husband in 2001. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards and Mahjong. Faith was important to Lorraine, and she was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Carson; son William G. Carson, Jr.; daughters Kathlene Maloney (John) and Jacquelyn Brandenburg (Mark); grandchildren Tonia, Jennifer, Matthew, Maiya, Ian, Zoë, and Cullen; brother Alfred Edinger, Jr. (Sandy); sister Robin Campagna; brother-in-law John Carson (Mary); and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son John A. Carson and parents Alfred and Mary Edinger.
