Losing our view

To the Editor:

As I read the article about the cow pasture being developed on County Road 466A (You can read that story HERE), I could not help but write to you about the clearing of the forest in Water Oak resort for the same reason – to put more homes in. Approximately 100. (You can read that story HERE) We had a gorgeous view of trees and fields and dogs playing in what the residents called “the dog park.” We bought the home 10 years ago and were told the land across from us could never be developed because of the tortoises and “cat fish ” pond. Now they are both gone.
