Lucile Helen Brown, 94, of The Villages, Florida, passed from this life Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Born in Watertown, FL Lucile was a life-long Florida resident. She along with her late husband Ray owned and operated the Cotton Club in Orlando during the late 1960’s and 70’s. Lucile moved to The Villages from Niceville, FL in 2010. She enjoyed reading, television and travelling all over Florida. She was most proud of and found great joy in her family. Lucile was predeceased by her husband Ray Brown and by her sister Helen E. Merricks. She leaves her daughters, Inez Hall (William) of The Villages, Jacquelyn Wisenback of Orlando, FL, a brother, James E. Parrish of Savannah, GA, grandchildren, Craig Bailey, Monica Little and Carla Brown, great granddaughter Monisha Wisenbaker and great great granddaughters Raleah and Raven Cheese. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
