Sunday night at Temple Shalom in Oxford, internationally acclaimed metaphysical author and evidential medium, Suzanne Giesemann, celebrated the publication of her latest book ‘Wolf’s Message ‘ — and wowed her standing-room-only audience with the surprise announcement that she has been invited to create an hour-long ‘Super Soul Sunday’ program with Oprah Winfrey which will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) in January.
A former U.S. Navy commander, who served as the aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chief s of Staff during the September 11, 2001 tragedy, Suzanne discovered her extraordinary psychic abilities when her beloved stepdaughter, Susan, a U.S. Marine Corps. sergeant, was killed instantly by a lightning bolt. Suzanne and her husband, Ty, live in the Village of Mallory Square. Avid sailors, the Giesemanns piloted their 46-foot sloop across the Atlantic ocean and around the Mediterranean Sea.
Suzanne began receiving recognition as an author with her 2006 best seller ‘The Priest and the Medium .’ She won the favor of leading spiritual publisher, Hay House, and has written a total of 11 books.
Hundreds of Villages residents , and thousands of believers around the world, have attended Suzanne’s SOAR seminars and motivational talks . Her timely e-mails — entitled ‘Sanaya Says’ — relay uplifting messages of love and hope from her spirit guides. Her most recent books: ‘Love Beyond Words, ‘ ‘In the Silence, ‘ and ‘A Memoir: Living a Dream, ‘ have sold millions of copies and are printed in several languages.
‘Wolf’s Message’ is about a 29-year-old artistic man, diagnosed as a schizophrenic, who, like Giesemann’s stepdaughter, was killed by lightning. Michael ‘Wolf’ Pasakarnis left drawings, notes and clothing which clearly indicated he knew where and how he was going to die. As a younger man, he was fascinated by dolphins, but later asked to be nicknamed ‘wolf’ because of his affection for that animal. ‘Wolf’s’ parents, Michael and Beth Pasakarnis, were present at Temple Shalom.
Wolf’s message is simple for those who are open to hearing it. “You are a beautiful soul who walks in both worlds at once (meaning the earthly world of the ego, and the spiritual world from whence we came). You are part of one big web connecting all that is (meaning the unity of all matter and energy). You find your way Home through the heart.” He enumerates the keys to finding peace, tranquility and freedom from the ego: “Realize who you are. Balance your head with your heart. Rise above the duality and observe. Spend time with your Highest Self, and Make the highest choices.”
“Life is eternal,” Suzanne said. “When we come to know our true selves as spirit beings, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of being connected with all people and things. Being with Oprah is sooo not about me,” she continued. It’s solely about the message.” Suzanne is honored to follow other luminaries Oprah has interviewed — including Maya Angelou, Deepak Chopra, Thich Nhat Thanh, Eben Alexander, Iyanla Vanzant and Ram Das.
Suzanne’s teachings are about peace , serenity and love , and do not challenge other traditional religious beliefs. “Suzanne accepts everyone and their place on their individual spiritual path,” her assistant, Village of Polo Ridge resident Bev Garlipp said. Objective and benign in her manner, she is nevertheless powerfully influential in the nature of her message. Suzanne credits her ‘higher power s ‘ for the insights she is able to share.
Widely recognized psychologist and spiritual author, Wayne Dyer, PhD., says: “Suzanne is an exceptionally gifted visionary and practitioner — trust me on this — I know from first hand.” Caroline Myss, author of many breakthrough books including ‘Anatomy of the Spirit,’ also has nothing but accolades for Suzanne. She calls her newest book, ‘Wolf’s Message,’ a masterpiece of intrigue. “If you have ever wanted to read a book that validates immortality and communication with loved ones who have passed on, then read this book,” Myss suggested. “It is an authentic portal to the other side.”
Villager Claire Lincicome, a former Catholic sister, describes Suzanne as ‘the real thing.’ “I have attended her readings and she is very ‘right on.’ Her messages are uplifting and have changed many peoples’ outlooks on life.”
Village of Hadley resident, Rev. Howard Westin, who teaches ‘A Course in Miracles’ and ‘The Historical Jesus,’ has known Suzanne for about four years. “We share many common beliefs and interests, and her experiences have been very informative,” he said. “I view her as a modern sage.” His wife, Rev. Annie Westin, said ‘Suzanne is a blessing for the Unity fellowship and for the world. She has given us a new, honest look at what we have to look forward to when we make our transition from this life — it is not the end.”
Proceeds from Sunday’s program went to fund a full nursing scholarship for a Lake College student from Eustis.
