Man arrested in 2014 burglary in The Villages, lands back behind bars

A man who had been arrested in 2014 in a Villages burglary case, has landed back behind bars.

Derrell Patrick Harrison, 22, was booked Tuesday morning at the Sumter County Detention Center on three probation violations. He was being held without bond.

Harrison had been arrested about a week after a Jan. 3, 2014 burglary in the Village of Bridgeport at Miona Shores. The house was burglarized while the couple slept. You can read about the original burglary HERE
