A 23-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after he tore a windshield wiper off his girlfriend’s vehicle during an alleged weekend altercation.
Travis Bryant allegedly grabbed and squeezed his girlfriend’s leg during an argument at their home on First Avenue in Lady Lake.
She left the residence in her car and returned a short time later, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. As the argument continued, Bryant tore off the windshield wiper and damaged two of the car’s windows, according to the arrest report.
He was arrested on charges of domestic battery and criminal mischief.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,500 bond.
