Man arrested after complaint of drug activity in Village of La Zamora

A man was arrested Thursday night after a complaint about drug activity in the Village of La Zamora.

Arturo Tattavito, 59, who said he has been staying with a friend at 210 Desota Court was pulled over at about 10 p.m. at Chula Vista Avenue and Gonzales Place for an inoperable taglight, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A search of the vehicle turned up cocaine in a container wrapped up in a T-shirt on the seat of his vehicle.

He was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
