A 33-year-old Kissimmee man was arrested on drug charges after he was pulled over Thursday morning after failing to stop at a stop sign.
Lady Lake police made the traffic stop at about 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of AAA on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages.
When the vehicle was pulled over, Michael Angelo Dieguez handed the police officer a Florida ID card and said he did not have a driver’s license. Dieguez gave the officer permission to search his vehicle and during the search, marijuana and a digital scale were discovered. Also found were multiple clear baggies “consistent with those used to sell/distribute drugs,” according to the arrest report.
Dieguez was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended, possession of marijuana with intent to sell/deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $7,000 bond.
Dieguez had also been arrested by Lady Lake police in 2014. You can read more about that arrest HERE
