A 47-year-old Summerfield man whose driver’s license has been revoked was arrested after he was spotted driving a go cart on a roadway in Marion County.

The go cart was spotted at 2:40 p.m. Thursday on SE 102 Terrace near its intersection with County Road 25, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Craig Howard Cebert told deputies that even though his license has been revoked and he has been classified as a habitual offender he thought he was allowed to drive a go cart on the roadway.

He was booked at the Marion County Jail on a charge of driving while license suspended.
