A 42-year-old Fruitland Park man was arrested Sunday by Lady Lake police on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Brian Keith Eklund was traveling in a vehicle that was pulled over after the police officer noticed the license plate tag had expired. The car was pulled over at Avenida Central and U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and a K-9 officer was summoned. The dog alerted on the vehicle and 26 grams of marijuana were discovered.

Eklund was transported to the Lake County where he later posted $2,000 bond and was released.
