Man arrested after mother of 15-year-old discovers graphic messages on phone

A 27-year-old Fruitland Park man was arrested after the mother of a 15-year-old girl discovered graphic messages on her daughter’s phone.

Devin R. Dorshimer is facing a charge of solicitation of a minor via computer following his arrest Saturday night at his home at 267 Daffodil Drive.

The mother of the girl on May 7 discovered semi-nude photos of her daughter on the girl’s phone and graphic messages exchanged with Dorshimer, according to an affidavit from the Leesburg Police Department.

Dorshimer has known the girl since she was 13 and was aware of the girl’s age, the affidavit said.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest.
