A 29-year-old man was arrested after he refused to pay his tab at a sports bar in Wildwood.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called early Monday morning to Dani’s Sports Bar on E. State Road 44 in Wildwood, after Justin Dennis Brezinski refused to pay his tab, according to an arrest report. When deputies arrived, the bar’s owner, Mehul Kumar Dani, told them he wanted Brezinski to leave. But even though deputies told him 10 times to leave, Brezinski refused, the report indicated.

When being placed under arrest, Brezinski refused to cooperate with deputies and kept trying to kick them. He had to be placed in leg shackles. He then complained of a broken wrist, and Rural/Metro Ambulance was called to the scene to check him out. But once EMS personnel arrived, Brezinski refused medical attention.

He is facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer, trespassing and disorderly intoxication.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $7,100 bond.
