A Lady Lake man was arrested after he was caught in the early morning hours driving without a license in the Village of Pinellas.

Thomas Anthony Spinello, 45, who lives in the Cove Apartments, had been driving at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday when he was pulled over for an non-functioning taglight at Pinellas Place at Border Court, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy discovered that Spinello’s license had been indefinitely suspended on July 12 for failure to pay a traffic fine. He has two previous arrests for driving while license suspended, the report indicated.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.
