Man dies after crashing into a fence in Citrus County

A 50-year-old man died as the result of injuries suffered when his vehicle crashed into a fence Monday night in Citrus County.

Brian William Robb of Floral City was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer south on Trails End Road, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. For unknown reasons, Robb’s vehicle departed the roadway, traveled onto the south shoulder, and collided with a fence.

Robb died at the crash scene.
