Man to escape prosecution after fracas at Spanish Springs nightspot

A 25-year-old Fruitland Park man will avoid prosecution after his arrest in January after a fracas at a Spanish Springs nightspot. 

Travis Evans had been issued a notice to appear in Lake County Court after the disturbance Jan. 7 at Margarita Republic.

He will enter into a pre-trial diversion program and if he successfully completes the program, the charge of battery will be dismissed.

Haley Ratliff, 24, had also been involved in the disturbance at Margarita Republic. You can read about the disposition of her court case HERE

Ratliff and Evans have also been banned from the establishment.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
