A 33-year-old Wildwood man has been arrested on a felony charge of trespassing at a Villages’ construction site.

Kurt Alvin Clark was discovered at about 8 p.m. Thursday collecting scrap near one of the newly constructed buildings on Morse Boulevard, between State Road 44 and Hillsborough Trail, according to the arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

“The defendant admitted to seeing and understanding the no trespassing signs but entered the construction site anyways,” the arrest report stated.

Contact was made with the construction site manager and he verbally stated he wanted to prosecute.

Clark was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $5,000.
