A man remains jailed in Lake County on $10,000 bond after he ordered a pizza at Snappy Tomato and refused to pay for it.

Lance Jeffrey Moor of Spring Hill is accused of entering the restaurant on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages at about 6 p.m. Nov 14 and ordering and then consuming a pizza.

He then confronted the owner of the business and told him that he wasn’t going to pay for the pizza because the business owner already had plenty of money, according to the arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

When police arrived, Moor confirmed that he had eaten the pizza but told officers he was homeless and had no family or friends in the area to help him out.

A check revealed that Moor had been arrested on petit theft charges three times for doing the same thing, the arrest report indicated.

He is scheduled for arraignment Dec. 8 in Lake County Court.
