A 27-year-old Oxford man was arrested early Sunday morning after he was caught driving without a license on U.S. 301.

During a traffic stop, Noe Jimenez-Diaz handed a police officer a Mexican identification card and told the officer he has never had a U.S. driver’s license, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

When Jimenez-Diaz was being processed at the Sumter County Detention Center, law enforcement discovered a folded-up $20 bill in his sock containing .3 grams of cocaine, the arrest report indicated.

He was booked on $2,000 bond.
