Man unknowingly buys stolen phones in Wal-Mart parking lot

A 22-year-old Ocala man reportedly bought stolen phones Sunday night in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Summerfield.

The man purchased two LG V10 cell phones for $135 after seeing them advertised on Facebook the OfferUp application, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

When he went to Verizon to have the phones activated, he learned they were stolen.
