A 22-year-old man with a long criminal history is being held on $11,000 bond after he allegedly tried to run away from a Lady Lake police officer following a traffic stop.
Tyshaun O’Neal Robinson of Leesburg was pulled over shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday on Shenandoah Avenue. Instead of staying seated in the car as he had been instructed, Robinson fled on foot. The officer apprehended Robinson as he attempted to enter a residence.
The officer determined Robinson had multiple driver license suspensions.
Robinson has prior arrests for driving while license suspended, providing a false ID to a law enforcement officer, shoplifting and violation of probation on a charge of marijuana possession.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $11,000 bond.
