Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded Friday to 12195 SE 135th Avenue in Ocklawaha in reference to William Arrant Jr. walking away from Solita’s Comfort Assisted Living Facility. Arrant is not under a court order to be at the facility and is free to leave if he wishes. However, Arrant suffers from mental health issues among other illnesses and is in need of his medication. After completing an exhaustive search for Arrant, deputies are now listing him as Missing Endangered. Staff from the facility advised Arrant was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweat pants. If you know anything about Arrant’s whereabouts, call 911.
