Manfred W. Juraschek was born January 30, 1936 in Breslau, Germany. He immigrated to Montreal, Canada in the early 1950’s and later to Texas. Shortly after his arrival in the US, Manfred enlisted in the US Navy, where he proudly served as a Seabee and attained the rank of E5. Following his Honorable Discharge from Port Hueneme, CA he decided to remain in the area and settled in Ventura, CA. Manfred owned and operated a successful construction company until his retirement in 1989. Since becoming a resident of the Villages, FL in 2008, he enjoyed collecting stamps, attending German Club events, dancing and spending time with friends and family. Manfred fondly reflected on his Military service and extensive world travels, which included South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Middle East. Manfred loved politics and current events and spent the last year of his life helping to make America great again.

Manfred is survived by his life partner, Irmgard Rauchhaus, step son Robert Rauchhaus, and his granddaughter Reagan Rauchhaus.

Manfred asked that there be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations instead be made to the Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Charitable Service Trust or any other reputable charity that benefits veterans.
