Mardi Gras brings beads, brass bands to Spanish Springs

The air was filled with the jazzy brass band tunes that one might find on Bourbon Street and all along the French Quarter during Thursday’s Mardi Gras celebration at Spanish Springs.

Thousands of Villagers crammed the streets, decked out in purple, green and gold masks and clothing.

The event played host to multiple Mardi Gras themed vendors, and many took the opportunity to get into the Mardi Gras spirit.
