Marjorie L. ‘Marge’ St. Pierre

Marjorie L. “Marge” St. Pierre, age 94, of Lady Lake, FL passed away on All Saints Day, Wednesday, November 01, 2017, 50 days short of her 95th birthday.

Marge is an Army wife married to Lt. Col. Romeo “Pete” St. Pierre in the Sacred Heart Church in Portland, ME for 75 years. During her life she worked side by side with Rosie the Riveter as Welma the Welder. As a secretary for the presidents of Campbell’s Soup Company, RCA and an Army Federal Employee.

She enjoyed ballroom dancing competition, bowling, golfing, boating and traveling on many cruises to include crossing the Panama Canal and up the Amazon River to Manaus.

Marge loved her 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Romeo St. Pierre; daughters Marge Hadbavny and Janice Velo; sons James St. Pierre, Michael St. Pierre, Joseph St. Pierre and Kevin St. Pierre.

Visitations will take place at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL 32159 on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5 from 3 – 5 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, The Villages, FL 32159 on Monday, November 6 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow the mass. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Monday, November 6 at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul ministry at St. Timothy Catholic Church.

Mom you will be missed, but always in our hearts.
