State Rep. Marlene O’Toole will speak Thursday, Sept. 24 to The Village Republican Club of Sumter County. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Savannah Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.for refreshments and socializing.
O’Toole currently serves as the chair of the Education Committee in the House and is past Chair of the Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee. She is term-limited in 2016. She will be speaking about what the legislature has accomplished this year especially during the emergency session.
