Marvin Horace Mosely, Jr., 76, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Marvin enjoyed hiking, gospel music, was a grill master and loved spending time with family. He also enjoyed his time as a member of The Villages Special Events Staff.
Survivors include wife of 33 years Loretta Ann Mosely; sons Jeffrey Mosely (Jennifer), Jason Mosely, Anthony Durfee (Barbara) and Jeffrey Durfee (Gina); grandchildren Madison, David, Kathryn and Richard; brothers Robert Paul Mosely (Kristine) and John Richard Mosely; sisters Mary Beth Horton, Grace O’Reilly and Abby Folendore (Calvin); numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Virginia and Marvin Mosely, Sr.; brothers Henry Anthony Mosely and Thomas Wayne Mosely.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016, at 11 a.m, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159. There will be a Private Interment on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
