Mary L. Schleich, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida. Mary a homemaker, was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to the Leesburg area in 2008 from Albany, New York. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg. Mary enjoyed playing golf and mahjong with friends and she was an extremely talented quilter and sewer her entire life. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and devoted her life to her family. She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years – Ronald; son – David (Rachel) Schleich of Easton, PA; daughters – Kathleen Schleich of Clifton Park, NY; and Jennifer (Randall) Damm of Raleigh, NC; brother – Thomas Donner of Denver, CO; sister – Sr. Margaret Donner of Buffalo, NY; mother-in-law – Margaret Troutman of Clarence, NY; sister and brother-in-laws – Louise Pawlow of Akron, NY; Don and Jacqueline Schleich of Nantes, France; and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Page-Theus Funeral Home – 914 W. Main St., Leesburg, FL 34748 on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. A funeral mass is planned for 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be made to: The Foundation Fighting Blindness 4600 Marriott Dr., Raleigh, NC 27612.
