Mary Mildred Schnurr, 91, passed from this life Monday, September 19, 2016. Born in Sioux City, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Washington and Helen (Edwards) Geissman.

Mary was a retired Home Economist for the Northern Indiana Public Service Co., of Ft. Wayne.

She and her husband of 44 years, Joseph moved to The Villages in 1998 from Ft. Wayne. Mary was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and active in numerous church functions. She enjoyed playing golf.

Mary leaves her husband, Joseph P. Schnurr; a sister-in-law, Rita Ruckel of Ft. Wayne, I.N.; several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Hope Lutheran Church, The Villages on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
