May 3 golf tourney to benefit adults with developmental disabilities

SCARC, Inc., a 501-(C)3 organization in Bushnell which offers training and evaluation of adults with developmental disabilities,will host a golf tournament on Saturday, May 3, at Shady Brook Golf Club in Sumterville.
There will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, with prizes and lunch for all golfers. The cost is $50 per person. All funds raised by the tournament will go directly to SCARC, Inc. to help provide vital services to its clients at the training center, as well as the two group homes. Should your business wish to donate a gift certificate or sponsor a hole of golf ($100),contact Jane Furnier (352/205-6610) for further information.  Checks and other monetary donations can also be made directly to SCARC, Inc. at 213 West McCollum Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513, Attn: Marsha Perkins, Executive Director.
