Messiah performance a triumph

To the Editor:

What a privilege it was Friday night to hear the Villages Orchestra, the Villages Philharmonic Chorale and the guest soloists in their performance of the Christmas portion of Handle’s Messiah and the Hallelujah Chorus; along with another Handle piece.  Too sad that so many Villagers missed it.  It should be the ‘official’ start of the Christmas celebrations here.  Dynamic musicianship, soaring chorale tones and dramatic soli!  Bravo to Maestro and all musicians for this emotionally uplifting performance.
