Michael LaCorte, age 66, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 24, 1950 in Passaic, NJ.
He worked in the printing field for 22 years until his retirement in 1992. He moved with his wife Gaylee to The Villages in 2000. Mike was an avid golfer who loved to play every day, rain or shine, and he was always available to help out neighbors and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Gaylee; brother Joseph LaCorte and his wife Judy of Delray, FL; sister Maria Wojdyla and her husband Danny fo Saddlebrook, NJ; children Michael LaCorte and his wife Jennine of Kearny, NJ, Jeffrey LaCorte and his wife Nancy of Newton, NJ and Kristy Madsen of Totowa, NJ; 4 grandsons Chase, Aiden, Mason and Rocco. He was preceded in death by a brother Frank LaCorte of Fairlawn, NJ.
A funeral service was held on June 1st in Lodi, NJ.
