Mildred Ruth Austin, 96, of The Villages, FL, passed on to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born in Parsons, Tennessee on March 17, 1921 to Buford and Hibernia (Conder) Tyler.

She lived for over 40 years in Creve Coeur, Illinois where she raised her family. She was an active member of the Baptist Church and her faith was the center of her life. She loved the outdoors and gardening and made many beautiful quilts that she shared with her family.

She lived for 10 years in N. Bennington, Vermont by her son Mark and his family helping to care for her two grandsons Tyler and James, who she loved dearly before moving to The Villages, Florida in 2006 to be near her daughter Patty, She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son, James Austin, a sister, Clara Tuten and a brother, Denver Tyler and is survived by her daughters, Marsha Kyle of The Villages, FL, Patty McLaughlin and son-in-law, Jim of The Villages, FL and her son Mark Austin and daughter-in-law Linda of Milford, New Hampshire. She dearly loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great granddaughter Audrey.

She had many dear friends and family who will miss her. She lived her life with the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as her personal savior and the knowledge that when she left this world she would be with him eternally.

Her funeral service will be at Crossroads Baptist Church and Cemetery in Parsons, Tennessee. Parsons Mortuary will be handling her burial arrangements.

Bring back the pool attendants so IDs can be checked
