A 30-year-old woman arrested last month in a convenience heist has told investigators a cocaine addiction fueled a recent robbery spree.

Cristina Gaud was arrested last month with a 10-year-old child with her in a getaway car pursued by Marion County sheriff’s deputies. Ronald Snow, 33, had jumped into the car after a convenience store heist on July 28. He later fled on foot and shot himself when law enforcement closed in on his location.

Gaud has since provided detectives with a list of 18 robberies she and Snow were responsible for, nine of those robberies being in Marion County Sheriff’s Office’s jurisdiction. The Ocala, Williston, Chiefland and Belleview police departments are pursuing charges for armed robberies committed in their jurisdictions.

Snow is in stable condition at a Marion County hospital.

Gaud continues to be held without bond.
