Motorcyclist dies at Ocala Regional Medical Center after weekend crash in Citrus County

A motorcyclist died from injuries after crashing into a vehicle Saturday evening in Citrus County.

Albert Corradina, 69, of Beverly Hills was driving a 2016 GMC Terrain eastbound on West Emerald Oaks Drive approaching North Citrus Avenue, while James Joseph Kolasensky, 63, of Orlando was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on North Citrus Avenue, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report. After stopping, Corradina continued into the intersection and into the path of Kolasensky’s motorcycle, resulting in a collision, the report stated.

Kolasensky was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries suffered in the collision. He had not been wearing a helmet, the report indicated.

Charges are pending.
