Motorcyclist killed in crash with vehicle in Citrus County

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle Friday evening in Citrus County

Kerry Ann Jurgens, 71, of Homosassa was driving a 2013 Dodge Durango northbound on U.S. 19 in the left turn lane approaching Grover Cleveland Boulevard, as Christopher N. Richard, 31, of Homosassa was riding a motorcycle southbound on U.S. 19 in the inside lane, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report. Jurgens made a left turn into the path of Richard’s motorcycle, resulting in a collision, the report stated.

Richard died at the scene of the accident. Charges are pending.
