Too much speeding on Morse Boulevard

To the Editor:

I volunteer at The Villages Hospital. When I drive the SUV, I set the cruise at 35 mph, go up Buena Vista to El Camino Real. When I take the golf cart, I go through Lake Sumter Landing and up Morse Boulevard. My golf cart goes 20 mph maximum. The last three times I have taken the SUV, I have been passed an average of 17 times. The last three times I have taken the golf cart I have been passed an average of six times. All of these passes have been by people breaking the law. What is the need to speed?
You are retired (probably).
Take it easy and most of the accidents will not occur.
