Complete with a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting on Wednesday afternoon, Boot Barn is officially open in Lady Lake Crossing, the same shopping Center that houses Stein Mart and Ulta Beauty. Boot Barn relocated from Fruitland Park.
“We wanted to be closer to our customer base which is the Villages,” said store manager Peach Simms. A move that has already paid off, Boot Barn had a soft opening on July 20 and they have seen their daily traffic double since moving to Lady Lake.
Boot Barn is more than just western gear.
Simms describes it as “high-end fashion for a western lifestyle.”
And of course boots.

The ribbon was cut Thursday at Boot Barn.

“We custom fit people for boots, that is one of the real benefits of shopping here,” said Simms. Boots at Boot Barn range in price from $89 to almost $500. They also carry children’s boots and work boots. The Lady Lake location is double the size of their previous location, allowing them to carry a lot more fashion items.
Executive Director of the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Sue Kelly is very excited about the growth in this area.
“In 2016 we have had three to four businesses opening every month,” said Kelly. “And we are projected to see that trend continuing in a positive direction.”
Boot Barn started in California and they now have over 200 stores including seven in Florida. The Lady Lake Boot Barn will be celebrating their Grand Opening with a big sale through Aug. 14. They will have a prize wheel this weekend Friday through Sunday.
Located at 464 N Hwy. 27/441,store hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
