Nicholas J. Quinn

Nicholas J. Quinn, 73, of Summerfield, Florida passed away March 2, 2017 at Sylvia’s Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Gale Stewart-Quinn who preceded him in death on January 3, 2014.

He was born on April 14, 1943 in Albany, New York a son of the late William and Dorothy (Morrill) Quinn. Nicholas was a computer software developer for RE Systems Group, Inc. prior to his retirement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed making and sailing model boats and sailboats.

Nicholas is survived by his son, Nicholas J. Quinn Jr. of Wayne, NJ and brother, William J. Quinn Jr. and his wife Noreen of Canandaigua, NY. He is also survived by stepdaughter, Wanda Harris and nephews, Sean, Mark and Kevin Quinn.

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on March 7, 2017 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM Funeral services will be at 1:00PM. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. Memorials in Nicholas’ memory may be sent to Hospice of Marion County.
