Ocala man arrested on drug trafficking charges

An Ocala man was arrested Friday morning on charges of trafficking in heroin and ecstasy.

Antonio Roberto Reynolds, 59, was taken into custody by the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team when they executed a narcotics search warrant at 3260 SE 32nd Court, Ocala.

During a three-month investigation, drug agents made several controlled purchases of heroin and ecstasy from Reynolds at his Southeast Ocala residence. These drug purchases were utilized to obtain the search warrant for his residence. The search of his residence resulted in the seizure of 151 oxycodone pills, 79 hydromorphone pills, 30 buprenorphine pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, $2,786 in U.S. currency and an elaborate electronic surveillance system.
