Ocala man in speeding Maserati arrested with 40 grams of cocaine

A 35-year-old Ocala man was arrested with 40 grams of cocaine early Monday morning by the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP conducted a traffic stop at 1 a.m. on a 2015 Maserati for excessive speed in the area of County Road 484 and Marion Oaks, west of Summerfield.

The driver, Jeremy Jermaine Willis, was found to be in possession of the cocaine, as well as 11 grams of marijuana and more than $28,000 in cash.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Marion County Jail.
