Annette Long is facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage, driving while license suspended and resisting an officer. She was booked at the Marion County Jail.

The bus, driven by 51-year-old Wendy Taylor of Ocala, had been carrying students from East Marion Elementary at 3:30 p.m. when it stopped at SE183rd Avenue and SE 93rd Place when it stopped for children to exit, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The bus had its signal lights activated. The bus was rear-ended by a 2000 Chevy Blazer driven by Long who then fled the scene. She was later apprehended by FHP.

There were no injuries.
