Ocala woman behind wheel in accident in which pedestrian killed

A 37-year-old pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a car driven by an Ocala woman at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday in Citrus County.

Jessica Lynn Fultz, 39, had been driving a 2008 Toyota Camry on North Anthony Avenue north of County Road 486 when her vehicle struck the pedestrian who had been walking in the roadway, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian, who died at the scene of the accident, has been identified as Kenneth Cifuentes of Hernando.
