An Ocala woman was jailed after allegedly bloodying the nose of her estranged husband’s new lady friend during a Sunday afternoon child exchange.
Vanessa Delores Davidson, 29, was arrested at her apartment by Marion County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of battery. Earlier in the day she had gone to the home of her estranged husband to drop off children. During the exchange, Davidson allegedly yelled at the woman and struck her in the face, leaving her with a bloody nose. A child reportedly witnessed the altercation. The woman called 911 and Davidson left the scene.
She was booked at the Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
