Ocala woman’s stolen vehicle found at Kangaroo in Summerfield

An Ocala woman’s stolen vehicle was found early Wednesday morning at a Kangaroo service station in Summerfield.

The parked 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee was noticed at about 3:30 a.m. by a Marion County sheriff’s deputy who had stopped to fuel up his patrol car at the service station on U.S. Hwy. 441. The deputy ran the license plate which came back stolen.

The vehicle is owned by a 32-year-old Ocala woman. She had reported it as stolen to the Ocala Police Department.
