Off Broadway Players present $3,000 checks to Operation Shoebox, SoZo Kids and food pantry

The Off Broadway Players continued their  practice of supporting local charities with  proceeds from shows performed twice yearly. The recipients this year are Operation Shoebox, the Lady Lake Christian Food Pantry and SoZo Kids, who each received $ 3,000. The presentation to The Lady Lake Christian Food Pantry and SoZo Kids was made at the Savannah Center on Oct. 20.  Present was Director of So Zo Kids David Houck and Kathy Burns representing The Lady Lake Christian Food Pantry. Making the presentation were Off Broadway officers  Ray Leggiero, Bob Brandoni and John Kintz.

The Off Broadway Players current musical production of ‘We’ve Gone Country’ is currently being staged at The Savannah Center on Thursday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Oct. 28.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
